**Job Description:**

**Position Summary**

Looking for an experienced full stack engineer with a variety of hands-on experience to explore existing and emerging technologies to drive application modernization efforts. This individual contributor position will support the Mobile, Voice, Financial Center, and ATM areas working on projects, trouble shooting, and developing proof of concepts. This thought leader will utilize their engineering experience and expertise to explore various technologies, provide recommendations, generate working POCs, and drive solutions to fruition. This person will be the face of our organization collaborating, influencing, and guiding a variety of teams including: On/Offshore, tech partners, business partners, and vendors. The candidate must be able to document and communicate findings and options to all levels of the organization from both the technology and business.

**Required Skills/ Experience**

+ Webservices JAX-WS/JAX-RS

+ Java/ JavaScript

+ Proven microservice delivery

+ Working knowledge of containers such as Docker, Open shift, Kubernetes

+ Strong desire to learn and understand new technologies

+ Application services such as Tomcat/WebSphere/JBoss

+ Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Mongo, DB2

+ Superior communication skills

**Desired Skills/Experience**

• Modern NoSQL databases

• Previous financial services experience

• Experience in an agile environment

• Ability to perform in an individual setting or a team environment

• Knowledge of code quality and monitoring tools such as SonarQube and Splunk

• Experience with UI frameworks JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, Angular, React

• Past Implementation of microservices

• ATM experience a plus

• Application frameworks such as Jersey, Apache, Spring, Hibernate/JPA, JMS
