Description
Amentum is currently seeking a Python/JavaScript Programmer to support an IT Managed Services program for a major national laboratory in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems. You will be a part of a team that partners with several SIPP and internal mission organizations to design, develop and deploy large-scale remote sensing systems for real-time national security missions. As a member of the team, you will: * Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts. * Develop block diagrams and logic flow charts. * Translate detailed design into computer software. * Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce the required product. * Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. * Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. * Provide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met. * Experience in information system design, including application programming on large-scale database management systems and the development of complex software to satisfy design objectives. Responsibilities * U.S. Citizenship required; must not possess dual citizenship with any other country other than the United States. * Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience OR an Associates Degree and 12 years of experience OR High School Diploma / GED and 16 years of experience. * Must be able to obtain a TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI) or DOE Q/SCI clearance and maintain it for the life of the contract. * 8 years of software development experience with Python and JavaScript. * Experience with data visualization. * On site work required.
