A bit about us:

Located in Dallas, TX we are a growing financial services company looking for a sharp Junior Software Developer to join our growing team! This will be a hybrid position between in-office and remote work.

In this role, you will work closely with Senior Developers and Product Managers to build and enhance applications and components in our financial services product suite. You will gain fluency in capital market concepts and insight into the operations of investment management firms.

Job Details

• Supporting our clients both as front-line helpdesk support, onsite client support and on implementation projects
• Installing, configuring and supporting local desktop applications in a Windows based environment
• Recommending, designing and implementing configured solutions that will help to propel our reputation as a high-quality IT services provider in the financial services space
• Working closely with senior leadership on opportunities where technical expertise is required during the client sales and business development process

MUST HAVE, experience with:

• Building large web-based software solutions
• JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Modern JavaScript frameworks: Knowledge of at least one (Angular, React, Vue, etc.)

NICE TO HAVE (but not required), experience with:

• C# or Java
• MS SQL Server or other SQL database
• Node.JS, NPM, and Webpack
• Source Control and CI/CD
• Unit testing frameworks
• Typescript
• Financial Services experience
