JavaScript Application Developer

What you will be doing:

As the JavaScript Application Developer, you will play a meaningful role in one of our User Software Application teams that enables users to design, build, operate, manage, and maintain their autonomous systems.

* Build native-quality software for multi-platform deployment
* Develop UI features and components in our JavaScript/TypeScript code base
* Build data visualization interfaces and experiences for a cutting-edge physics-based autonomous platform
* Build highly functional and interactive tools for integrators & engineers
* Build tools for analyzing and exploring large real-time data set

You must have:

* B.S. in Computer Science or related field
* 3+ years experience in software development
* Experience with OO and MVC design patterns
* Strong programming skills (e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Swift, etc)
* Ability to contribute individually, architecturally, and in group/pair programming
* Demonstrated capabilities to design and implement modern Web applications
* A passion for crafting sophisticated user experiences
* A collaborative, interpersonal communication style - you're an extraordinary teammate!
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of the user experience
* Ability to participate in a feedback-based work process to guide improvements and drive growth

You should have:

* Passion for developing cutting edge user interfaces and experiences
* Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React/Angular/Ember, etc)
* Experience with distributed applications
* Experience with reactive and data-driven system architectures
* Strong interest in data visualization methods
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Commitment to keeping up with and implementing the best practices
* A meticulous, detail-focused work ethic while keeping the end-goal in mind
* An open and flexible mindset, willing to learn and adapt to a dynamic work environment

It's helpful to have:

* Fundamentals of human-computer interaction design
* Experience with relational databases, PostgreSQL
* Experience with SVG programming (SVG.js, Snap.js, etc)
* Experience with 3D programming (Three, etc)
* Data synchronization skills e.g. Apollo client,
* A background in WASM
