Full Stack JavaScript Developer

Location : PA ( Remote)

Longterm Contract

W2 role

No of positions: 2

This role is responsible for extending and maintaining a flexible data gathering framework in Javascript which is used across multiple platforms including web, mobile, and OTT. You will work with other development teams to support best practices, implementation, and testing of data gathering across the client Digital portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Maintain Javascript framework for web and mobile analytics reporting.

Maintain automated and manual testing of analytics and 3rd party tags based primarily on network requests.

Provide tools and documentation such as browser extensions, web tools and software packages for cross team developers to implement analytics.

Maintain CI workflow for optimal code deployment.

Demonstrate critical thinking for potential roadblocks; comprehend a bigger picture of the business and effectively communicate these issues to stakeholders

Work closely with internal stakeholders to implement solutions that adhere to solution designs and schema

Skills needed:

Embrace a builder mentality to automate processes

Strong Javascript developer with experience in node.js and vanilla Javascript.

Experience testing client side tracking such as Adobe App Measurement Experience or Google Analytics.

Experience with automated testing such as Cypress

Proficient deploying and maintaining node packages

Proficient with Linux environment

Comfortable working with GIT workflow

Requirements discovery from broad task descriptions

Work in a small team with dynamic workflow using Agile process and JIRA

Nice to have:

Experience implementing reporting such as Adobe Analytics and Mparticle

Familiarity with web analytics solutions

Experience with github CI scripting.

Experience with AMP development

Experience with streaming video analytics

Proficiency in Python
