Job Description:
The company for many years has focused on enterprise client/server software products for their customers around the world. They need to evolve to also include Web-Based solutions too. These two new positions for the company, working alongside their Java Software engineering teams that are focusing on the middle-tier / back-end development. They need very strong and seasoned HTML5 / JavaScript developers that can build the front-end web-solution interfaces for all their existing products. Since all the existing and new software development is written in Java, you will need to have some Java professional development experience ( could be current, or something you did a few years ago).

The JavaScript development is a core, could also have some experience with Angular, React, Node, etc... Some projects may require you to work in one of these Javascript languages. Must be willing to use them, or pick them up while working on this role.

They are becoming an Agile development shop, with 3 week sprints. There is a team approach to all software development. They are more after the can-do attitude to use the right tool for each project you work on, and also willing to learn or pitch in and help others out on the team when needed.

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years Web and front-end software application development using HTML5, and JavaScript
  • Strong JavaScript development experience. Any experience with Angular, React, Node or other front-end JavaScripting tools is helpful (list which ones you have used and be prepared in the interview to talk about them, or show how you use them on a computer)
  • Some paid professional Java development experience ( current or recently within the past few years)
