Software Development Manager (JavaScript)

Salary: up to $160k + 10% bonus

100% remote until further notice; needs to be in Atlanta area
Our client is a software company in Sandy Springs which builds innovative solutions for the FinTech industry. They are looking for a Software Development Manager with previous experience as a lead developer/architect, working on enterprise software systems which use a Node.js / JavaScript technical stack.

Here's what our ideal candidate has:

• 10+ years of software development experience, with 2+ specific to full stack JavaScript
• Experience as a JavaScript focused architect / technical lead
• Experience managing a team to build full-stack JavaScript web-based applications
• Experience leveraging cloud services such as AWS EC2, S3, RDS, etc.

Preferred skills (not required):

• UI development experience using any modern UI framework / library (React, Vue, Angular)
• Experience with JavaScript microservices development
• Experience with AWS serverless services like Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience with financial / payment processing software
• Experience working in a start-up, small or medium-sized company
