Senior JavaScript Developer

Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire / direct hire (either is fine)

Remote: 100% remote (preferably within the southeast)

Rate: $75 - 85/hr depending on experience (up to $135k base + bonus)

Our client is a software company in Raleigh currently building an AI platform for the professional services industry. They are looking for a backend-focused JavaScript Developer to help build out their platform using Node.js and Express.

Here's what our ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years of web development experience, with 2+ using Node.js
• Experience using Express (or similar framework) for RESTful API development
• Experience with SQL and relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL

Preferred skills (not required):

• Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript microservices development
• Experience with AWS serverless services like Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.
