Senior JavaScript Developer

The Intersect Group is seeking a Senior JavaScript Developer for our client in Irving, Texas. The Senior JavaScript Developer will develop user interface components and implementation using well-known React.js workflows.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior JavaScript Developer will develop UI features using React.js
  • Build backend APIs using Node.js
  • Build reusable components and frameworks for future use
  • Maintain high quality coding standards
  • Build components that are optimized for maximum performance of various devices and browsers

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with RESTful APIs
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in React.js
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with and building APIs using Node.js
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with NoSQL database, preferably MongoDB
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with code versioning tools (Github/Gitlab)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with serverless architecture
  • Familiarity building Lambda functions
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
