 PHP/JavaScript Developer
As the SugarCRM Developer, you will play a crucial
role in programmatically customizing our CRM application and related business
applications to meet our ever-changing needs. Sugar is open source, completely
customizable and flexible, and you will be called upon to find the most
efficient ways to extend it to provide the functionality needed. Our CRM users
are highly reliant on data, systems, and workflows to meet our participation
and revenue goals. It is your responsibility to understand the business needs
well, and deliver a performant and powerful system to meet these needs and also
to allow integrations with other core systems. The Business Systems team
includes a small, talented, service-oriented group of administrators,
developers and analysts who are curious about technology, are unafraid to learn
it and are passionate about building the best solutions to meet the changing
needs of the organization. The team is split between our Ann Arbor, MI and New
York City offices, but we have found excellent ways to collaborate with each
other and the rest of the organization making the geographic separation more of
a non-factor.

Specific Objectives and
Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be a strong PHP and JavaScript software developer with
experience designing, modeling, developing, and debugging integrated software
solutions in an enterprise environment. The candidate has also worked in a
small development team (where he |she played multiple roles), is curious about
learning and teaching others various technologies and follows responsible,
organized and collaborative development practices. In this role, you will be
responsible for the day-to-day management and extension of our SugarCRM so that
it is efficiently set up, customized to meet our needs and operating error
free. Beyond the day-to-day,
there will be emphasis on leading and building out enterprise wide applications
including integrations for campaign management (including email marketing),
marketing websites, order processing, access provisioning and reporting.
