Position Description:

Our Federally Funded Research and Development Client is currently looking for a JavaScript Developer to join their growing team of developers.

Required Skills:

1.  Experience developing non-trivial applications using JavaScript/Typescript, Agile software development, and source code version control systems (i.e., Git & Github)

2.  Unit testing and integration testing

3.  Developing, debugging, and executing software in a Windows and Linux environment.

4.  Producing, editing and maintaining documentation aimed at users and other developers.

5.  Candidates must be enthusiastic, innovative and motivated self-starters able to work independently, or with a group, to achieve program requirements

6.  Candidates must possess strong oral and written communications skills, and must be able to present findings/results to internal and external organizations.

Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role):

1.  Experience working in agile, scrum-based teams.

2.  Experience building secure software systems using secure software development best practices.

3.  Familiar with JavaScript user interface frameworks, such as Vue.js or React.

4.  Familiar with working with an XML file format.

5.  Familiar with UML modeling.

6.  Familiar with other programming languages, such as Java or Python.

7.  Experience working closely with system requirements, requirement management, and requirement traceability.

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense security clearance as a condition of employment
